Traditional Polvorones are a crumbly Spanish shortbread made with almonds, this one has a high amount of actual almonds, more than 16%!. This is a typical holiday sweet cake that is made with real almond flour, lard, sugar, cinnamon, and sesame, then baked in the oven. It is shaped into small cakes and wrapped in paper.
