How to preserve your gourmet products to enjoy their flavor and quality for longer?

When you choose gourmet products, you are investing in quality and tradition. Preserving them correctly is key to ensuring they maintain their freshness and authentic flavor. Here are some practical tips:

👉 Canned and preserved foods

- Before opening: store in a cool, dry place protected from direct light. Extreme temperatures may alter their properties.

- After opening: Transfer contents to an airtight container and refrigerate. For optimal flavor, consume within 2-3 days.

👉 Charcuterie and Hams

- Whole pieces: store in a cool, well-ventilated place. If you use a ham holder, cover the cut part with a clean cotton cloth to protect it.

- Sliced: Keep the portions in their original vacuum packaging or transfer them to an airtight container before refrigerating.

👉 Gourmet cheeses

- Wrap them in special cheese paper or waxed paper, as it allows them to breathe. Avoid plastic, which retains moisture and can alter their texture.

- Store the cheese in the special drawer of the refrigerator, where the temperature is more constant. Remember not to cut it until serving time to preserve its freshness.

💡 A final tip: Take care of your gourmet products as they deserve: protected from heat, light and excessive humidity. This way, you'll enjoy every bite as if it were your first.
